digilog journal is a brand new open access journal: multidisciplinary in its lineup, connecting related, different areas and interests in digital healthcare. We focus on a) work that outlines innovative solutions, taking into account analog and digital terms in their equations. And b) digital tools designed for rapid transfer into existing as well as new outpatient and inpatient care. Topics on which we publish contributions include (but are not limited to): networked care, e-/mHealth, IT in healthcare economics and sciences, telemedicine applications, remote-sensing implants and wearables, virtual and mixed reality (VR , MR), digital ethics, medical image analytics, medical informatics and technology, optimized care through digital health, acceptance, usability and gamification, big data management.
digilog journal accepts in addition to original research work also “research highlights" (in news ticker format), (editorial as well as personal) comments and literature reviews. Our aim is to provide the scientific community in the field of digital care with a broad platform of top quality.
Articles about which there is a substantial dissenting opinion within the Reviewer Board or which have already triggered controversy are put online for general discussion in the form of a scientific blog.
